Rebecca qualified as a physiotherapist in 2004 from the University of Hertfordshire. After completing her junior role in Crawley and East Surrey Hospitals, she moved to a Senior Therapist post working on an inpatient rehabilitation ward. In 2008 she moved to the community, working in a multidisciplinary team where her holistic skills were broadened. The team worked with patients after falls and illnesses, preventing hospital admissions and facilitating early discharges.
In 2013 she pioneered a new role for physiotherapists as a community matron, working closely with patients with complex health conditions. She worked alongside the GPs to manage the medical and social care needs, encouraging self-management and avoiding hospital admissions.
Although practicing privately since graduating, in 2018 she moved fully to the private sector so that she could commit to providing a quality service to her clients. She prides herself on her professional approach, and her ability to quickly form a relationship with her clients and understand their goals.
“Many thanks to Rebecca for her professionalism and personal touch in attending my mother's home to give her treatment for her back. Mum is now noticing she can do things that pre-treatment she struggled with. To her immense joy, this includes more active playtime and longer walks with her grandson! ”
